Madryn Lodge offers character self catering accommodation in a very rural setting, with far reaching views of mountains and sea, from the cottage and the lovely secluded cottage garden.
Just 20 minutes from Abersoch this holiday cottage is in a perfect location to explore the Llyn peninsular, Snowdonia or the island of Anglesea.
The double bedroom is a former crogloft reached via an open staircase and featuring a most interesting antique Jamaican “pineapple bed”.
The original stone building is some three hundred years old and was the Lodge to Madryn Castle.
There are many beaches and coves to explore within just a few miles of the cottage, with the local shop and 2 pubs only two and a half miles away.
Dolphins and seals often flock to the bay in near by Abersoch, with many bottle-nosed dolphins being seen offshore every year.
For keen birdwatchers this is an ideal location to see birds such as Buzzards, Willow Warblers, Whitethroats and Guillemots even Puffins can be seen nesting nearby on the local islands!
With a wide range of rare flora and fauna attracting rare insects it's a botanist paradise.
